SPEAKER_00Yes. I hated that fun fact. I know you did. I hated that fun fact so much. Will didn't want to do that fun fact, but I'm like, it's too crazy. That's too crazy.
SPEAKER_01I said this to you before, but how did we ever think that that was a good idea?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you actually said something really funny. You were like, How did we get there? Where it's like, we're inventing all these things, and we've talked about on here before that God loves inventions. He didn't, you know, he only steps in when it's the motivation of the invention gets wrong. This invention to make apparently childbirth easier. Listen, this motivation was never necessary.
SPEAKER_01Yo. Was it made to get easier or was it made when it was impossible?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. No, if you keep reading the details of it, it's to get easier. But I don't know. I don't wanna I just don't know what husband and wife was like.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's not a good idea.

Sorry, no chainsaws off of no chainsaws allowed. Uh one, it's good to be back. It is um, I'm just going to address the our tens of tens of listeners um with kind of our rhythm of stuff. Life is just kind of crazy. It's crazy for everybody, it's crazy for both Will and I, it's crazy for everyone listening, and it is crazy for all of um, yeah, with just timing. And so every now and then uh we just get kind of caught up with doing a fluidity of a bunch of episodes in one week, and then sometimes it's like a few weeks that will pass by. So it's just an adventure, it's discovery. We don't even know sometimes uh when we will, what's it called, kind of be able to uh my mic was weird that whole time. I'm so sorry. Yeah, so sorry.
SPEAKER_01You did like a you did like a 19 like 50s mic where it's like Yeah, my fault.
SPEAKER_00See, it's been kind of it's been a minute, but sometimes we don't know when we'll be able to do another episode, and sometimes we'll text each other in the sense of uh hey, let's do one tomorrow, and then we'll try to do it, but we just can't get to it. Uh and we really weirdly believe in this thing, by the way. We believe in this. We'll Because we're weird. Yeah. I think it's what we've bought into, what we've been deconstructing and rewiring in our lives, and what we've now, um, in a way, newly have bought into uh on on just what the spiritual formation of of a walk with Christ is supposed to look like. Uh and and it doesn't have to be confusing, it doesn't have to be this self-sabotagey type of way. And Will says a really great line to me when we need to be recordings like the world needs medicine. And I love hearing that line. Um, and that's what we just really want this to be is medicine for the world. SPEAKER_00Uh my on my MySpace Zenga page uh is where I'm on. Hey, how many top friends did you have back in the day? I yeah, my parents didn't let me really have a MySpace at all. Old Doug and Christy. Ah, I see did not let me um have stuff like that. So very strange kind of upbringing. Yeah. Anyways, on that'll be, I don't know, down the road. Because we want it, we down the road we are we do want to talk about each other's lives and bringing other people on and hearing about their lives, uh, and it corresponding with the script chapter of scripture that we are in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we'll start doing that soon.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, very soon. Uh it's going to be after the book of Mark because already we are in Mark chapter six.
SPEAKER_01There's like 10 more chapters after this.
SPEAKER_00And again, Mark is the shortest gospel, and we've been adventuring through this.
SPEAKER_01I told that to somebody the other day. They were we were going over the gospels, and um, the person was like, So which one's your favorite? And I said, I I'd usually say Matthew, but I was but this time I was like, Well, I'll tell you my least favorite. They said, and I they said, You have a least favorite. I said, Yeah, it's Mark. I said, Why? I said, Because it's the shortest one. Yeah, I want more.
SPEAKER_00Right. And and even back then, Mark knew because of his agenda. Uh, we talked about episodes ago that you can't synchronize the gospels in all their agendas, you have to let their agendas be their agendas.
SPEAKER_01Well, even even reading back through Mark on this, it's very uh this is this this one's very section sectional. Yeah. Very, very, this is this is the story, this is the point, this is the story, this is the point where Matthew, it's very, it's it adds the adds kayak uh chiasms in there all over the place.
SPEAKER_00It adds I always forget what the inclusio is, but yeah, it's a form of that's the one I forget all the time. It's a form of poetry. Um in and it's a form of how Jewish writers uh wrote. And majority of the Bible, except for one writer, was a Jewish writer. And so Mark, let's just remember what each agenda was, Matthew being a Jew writing to Jews, so it's gonna be way more filled with type of imagery and color and verbiage that a that a five to eighty-year-old Jewish male and female are gonna get right away. And then Mark is a Jew writing to Empire. Uh, but who all these people are Christians? All these people are supposed to be, supposed, how you're able to live within this, and so within all all of that, um, we uh have to respect the agenda. He's saying that hey, you've you've lived like this. I'm I'm we are telling you there's a new king, there's a new kingdom. It isn't it isn't Trump, it isn't Caesar, it isn't America, is it it isn't Rome, it isn't the Western Church, it isn't the mega church, and it isn't, it isn't the small church. Uh it it is the church of God, and we serve one God. And Jesus came onto the scene at a very interesting time on when people were being rejected for their just their humanness, on their status of where they were born, where they came from, on all that type of stuff. And so humans are not designed to judge the value of the human. God is the only one who is able to lower and higher that, and he's he's able to handle the pressure of that. So uh there's just a reminder of what we're doing with each of these books. Uh, again, Mark being the shortest gospel, I think he understood who he was writing to and the attention span because he saw the efficiency of the empire, he saw the efficiency of everything kind of going on. But it's the same thing when Socrates, a thousand, two thousand years before Jesus, he he he when writing came on, when the symbols of writing came onto the scene, he he never wrote a single thing down, a single thing down because he thought that was gonna make everybody lazy. And that's the whole thing that's up next with AI. AI isn't gonna be this like uh uh you know, outfront demonic type of thing. AI is gonna be convenience, it is going to robotically finalize the the fall asleep. Well, well, you don't gotta do that now. Well, you don't gotta go wrestle, no tension there when we've gone over what tension is the the beautiful design of tension. So Mark having to shorten his gospel on purpose because of the low attention span. And as a westerner, I take offense to that. One why falsely, I take offense to it, because it's true, it's true, it's true. I hate how true it is. And majority of our circles, you know, can't even spend time in the in the deep end of the pool. The truth is, people would rather stay in the shallow end of the pool where it's warm, and they don't even know why it's warm. They think it's the sun warming the water up, which it is. Do you know what else is warming the water up? Do I want to know? It's piss. Yeah, right. So that's the other thing. So people are like, well, I pee in I pee in the pool all the time. That's not okay. Yeah. Stop peeing in the pool. Like, and stop being okay with just being with waste. That's what that's what's crazy, is everyone's settling right now. There's no more vigilance, there's no more higher thinking, there's no more Christ consciousness or transcendentness. Everyone, everyone thinks they're doing that based off of spontaneity of going to take a trip somewhere.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Or or by or by thinking that they're being overdisciplined by I will love God more or God will love me more when I wake up at 5 a.m. to do my the to do my devotional. Exactly. Which is fine. That's not the but that's not the point. The point is, uh are you able to live that out? And plus we're so conditioned back kind of back to Mark of why he's writing or how he's writing. We're so conditioned, and maybe it was back then back this way back then too, but we're so conditioned on what's what's your main takeaway? Yeah. I I can't stand that question so much because what it does is that it excludes everything else that was talked about.
SPEAKER_00It means it's you're all you're at the finish line and you're staying at the finish line. Right.
SPEAKER_01All all it does is say, oh, so this was the only thing that seemed important to you that you had this main takeaway. And that's craziness. It it when or you don't believe in yourself enough to realize that you can learn the whole thing. That you can listen to something twice, once even, and be like, okay, I can gather all of that. Where has our human brain gone?
SPEAKER_00No, it it where has it gone? It hasn't everyone knows where it's gone. Everyone knows we've traded it in for convenience, we've traded it in for love, a type of love that we we identify, we define. A love uh we we've traded in for money, uh, we've traded in for convenience. Uh we've already, you know, that's the one that we irresponsibility. Well, we don't want responsibility as a thing. Exactly. We want as few as responsibilities, and then everyone's wondering why their life feels empty and why their life feels whatever. Well, you're not aiming at anything. What's the highest thing that you could go at? What's one of the biggest adventures that you could take on?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I have to, I have to without trying to become famous. Yeah. Without trying, like, stop trying to become famous. Here's the here's another challenge for everybody who's listening. How many celebrities can you unfollow? It's one of my what my high school basketball team was doing last year. This one, my uh my JV and my freshman team, I challenge how many, how many celebrities can you unfollow? And they were doing it and they were seeing it. And because let me remind you how old these disciples are that Jesus called at the time of calling, 12 to 16 years old. Everyone listening is behind. That's the biggest thing in the West that we do not get that there is a maturity. This was on purpose, the ages that they call they call because God is like seeing, saying, Hey, there is supposed to be this clicking on inside of you that we're now telling children to be extra childlike in this way that we're disguising it with the scriptures, but we're missing the fact of you're supposed to have this maturity about you, this emotional intelligence, because it's inside of you and everyone knows what they're doing. It's everyone is trading. I don't, this is too hard, this is too much responsibility, and I don't know what tomorrow looks like enough, enough to where I'm gonna buy in. And so what do they do? They go back to Egypt.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And this is not a and this is not a just a necessarily a flip-a-switch thing, but like what are you fighting for in your everyday? I I I give my excuse that I'm ADHD all the time, where why I quote unquote don't pay attention, right? But like I have to fight that and not allow myself to be like, I am ADHD, so therefore, so therefore I can treat you this way, or therefore I can treat myself this way, right? I have to get away from that.
SPEAKER_00Here's my biggest thing with that. If you know what you are, why what are you doing? Yeah, brain cancer right here. It's like, hey, I I have I just had two seizures last week, right? It's if I don't up my if I don't go to the doctor and we don't up my medicine and I know about it, it's like, oh, well, you know, I'm just gonna struggle. That's because that's the new addiction, is to audibly talk about your struggle and not do jack crap about it. Do nothing about it. Because the dopamine hit of every time we talk about we're gonna go on the run, every time we talk about we're gonna go, we're gonna start doing this, we're gonna start doing this thing. No, you're not. No, you stop fooling yourself and just stop lying to yourself. It is what it is on it. You're not gonna do it. You have you so I'm gonna use the ADHD thing because everybody else talks about it. Every dude, it's one of the number one things. Dyslexia, I got this, I got that, I got this, I got that. It is so popular to say this crap. A buddy uh and a buddy of mine yesterday, we were sitting at a coffee shop and we were talking about the addiction to illness, the addiction to uh uh people being within their diagnosis. It's like I I'll be honest, when I got, you know, I've been cancer free for two and a half years, which is incredible. Um, when I first got cancer free, I I was like not okay. I wanted to go back to the cancer because of the the the purpose uncertainty I had in the cancer days. It's the same story we read in Exodus when they're already freed. And and because the promised land is taking too long and they don't know what tomorrow or next week or next month or next year or whatever it is. They don't know what the love situation, job situation, they don't know what it looks like. So you know what they're gonna go do? They'd rather go back to the addiction of victimhood because that gives them answers. Tired. Tired of this. Okay. Yeah. Mark chapter six. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh we're gonna start.
SPEAKER_00We got multiple things going. Remember, we don't read, don't worry, everybody. If you've already looked at Mark chapter six, and in case you haven't, you're just like, are they gonna read the full chapter? We don't read the full chapter yet. Um we're gonna do Jesus sends out the twelve, and then we're going to uh finish with Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand, just those two stories out of the four to five stories that are within Mark, Mark chapter six. So um Will is going to take us over uh this is a big deal that's about to happen here. I'm gonna kind of set the scene. Jesus um in in other books finish their his first message. Whenever your rabbi or your pastor finishes first sermon, he goes and acts out this sermon that he just gave. And his sermon is the Beatitudes and everything that came out of that in Matthew 5, 6, and 7. And then in Matthew 8, 9, he acts it out if you want to go look at it. And then Matthew 10, because it gives way more detail than it does in Mark 6. Matthew 10, this is when he now sends out his students, the disciples, to what? Go and act to see if you're listening and go act out the message. Not only listening, not just knowledge, not a knower, but a believer. Because your belief comes from your heart, comes from your heart. So right now, he's about to go send out the twelve. All right, take it away. Mark chapter six, verse halfway through six. Halfway through six, going into seven.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Through thirteen. Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village, calling the twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over impure spirits. These were his instructions. Take nothing for the journey except a staff, no bread, no bag, no money in your belts, wear sandals, but not an extra shirt. Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. They went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
SPEAKER_00Okay, perfect. So what we love to do with the text is we let the text be the context. We want both hands of the piano. We want the bass line of the piano and we want the melody of the piano. Uh America only pretty much lives with the left hand of the piano, thinking it's both hands, thinking they're they're getting depthfulness when they're just still in the in the piss of the water of things and exhausting the literalness out of everything of the Bible and not ever knowing when to be literally poetic or poetic, poetically literal. Um, so with Mark chapter six here, uh verse six through thirteen, who are they? Who are these people? Who are they going after? Majority of the time, how I was taught and growing up, who how are you taught? Who are these people?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I mean, this would automatically be the unbelievers.
SPEAKER_00These are unbelievers, these are everybody that you need to go downtown, downtown Nashville right now. Go to the go to the walking bridge, go to the walking bridge, pass out tracks, or make sure you bring in all your friends to the youth group on Wednesday nights, all edifying things, bring your people and all these. But what's happening today is no one's listening to anybody who's doing that. Why? Well, if you let the text be the context, the people that Jesus goes and really sends them to are not unbelievers. Who are they, Will?
SPEAKER_01They are they are their friends and family, the existing Jews that already that already are supposedly in on this story.
SPEAKER_00So in today, that meaning in today's world in terms, they are the existing Christians, people who already believe in God. Jesus sends them to the three, to the triangle of the holy cities, the three holiest cities of the region.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00He doesn't send them to unreached tribes or underground places in China or all this stuff. He sends them to their hometowns. He sends them to the holiest places, telling them, you are missing this. You think that you're in, you think that you're in the kingdom, but you are so far off that it's not even that it's not even funny. You're so far gone. You have now, you're starting to incentivize the younger generation to memorize my father's holy word just so that they have just so that they participate within your services. You know what they're incentivizing them with what? I mean, I used to be a part of this as a youth pastor. Hoverboards, trips to Dollywood, all this type of BS. Don't forget the Chick-fil-A gift cards. The gift cards, the literal cash on how many friends they would buy or bring. Buy pretty much. Or how I would show up to these schools with free food and lunch, only with the intent of yeah, spreading the word and all this stuff and encourage people, but just to get them to the church that I worked for, because we had numbers to report to the Southern Baptist Convention. And and this is some of the saddest stuff. And this is why Jesus is like, hey, the the holiest disciple group there will ever, ever be, their first mission trip was to places that already believe in God. Hello, this is happening today. And what does he tell them? What does he tell them to expect? Get ready because to be to be rejected, to be rejected for what? Well, what Jesus preached about in Matthew 5, 6, and 7. That the poor in spirit get the kingdom. It's the panhandler that has more of the father's favor. It's the ones who aren't in church. It's the ones who are mourning. It's the ones who are all this. It's the ones who are not a nationalist. It's the ones who aren't taking off their necklace of pearls and wisdom and throwing it at people who haven't agreed with the things you've agreed to. I mean, it's absolutely absurd what is going on today. And you know what's interesting? How did he send them out?
SPEAKER_01Two by two.
SPEAKER_00Whoa. What story is that remind you of?
SPEAKER_01Oh, Noah and the Ark.
SPEAKER_00Right? The going out. And the exiting, going in and going out. The saving of the world, right? And now we're going out and and fit. This is how the world is going to be. Right? You know what I'm saying? So, so this the because these disciples all came from different groups. These disciples did not like each other, but they all were like, This is God. This is the Son of God. This is forgiveness. This is what mercy actually looks like. This is what it actually looks like to be satisfied and to accurately thirst and hunger for righteousness. I know now how to deal with the person who has favor next to me when I don't. And I know how to praise them and not just hope it slips off of them and goes on to me. I now know how to be, I'm third. God, people, me. And I only want to be in third place. And that is just not a popular message. That's not a popular message. And so it, I think it's just high no one ever talks about where they're uh really going. Everyone assumes they're going to unreach places of no, they're going to places that know their text. They're going to places that go to Bible study, and Jesus says, get ready. They're going to hate what I have said. And what does he say? Forgiveness. That the lowly are, the ones who think that they're in are not in. The ones who don't think they're in are the ones who are actually in. The outcast. They're the ones that are in. I mean, it's this upside-down, unbelievable message that we need more than ever, actually, today. Because here comes the trend once again of judging the value of the human. And Jesus came when, at the protrusion of this whole story of human history, when everything was at its lowest, everything was at its lowest. Depravity, genocidal stuff, gender fluidity side of stuff, um pastors rejecting humans determining who can be in what churches. Hello, it's all happening again, but being disguised in very clever verbiage. History doesn't repeat, it rhymes. Sorry. So if you're looking for literalness to happen, you're going to miss it. You're gonna miss it. You have to be able to know how to be literally poetic and then be poetically literal all throughout. It's worth having. I think it's just incredible, actually, that he's like, hey, just just be ready to leave that town that you used to do Bible study in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Shake the dust off your feet. I think, man, I think there's something there. I think there's that reminds me of a story, but I can't remember which one in the Old Testament. Something with like Elijah or something. Does that sound interesting? Does that sound similar to you? I'm gonna look that up later.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um, okay. Do you got anything on that?
SPEAKER_01I I I mean, yeah. I I I mean, all I have is I I try to bring more of my experiences into here, but I've had even giving these messages to people, I I always have different reactions.
SPEAKER_00Do you know why? Do you know why? Because there's a white knuckling around tribalism. There's a white knuckling around uh not be everyone being too offendable and not being able to say, yeah, actually, I've been believing in the wrong thing for quite some time. They're too afraid to say that because they think there's a big old I told you so on the other side of it. And there's just not. There's not. There's this unconditional your day, your value as a human starts with evening and morning, and no one else is doing that for you in your life.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And the reason why we can't have that conversation in the West is because we live in such a black and white, absolute truth. We don't learn anything through uh adventure and discovery, we learn everything through the start and get right to the finish line. And it's like, okay, well, just try to have some comprehensive critical thinking. No one has critical thinking, and that is even a popular thing to say now. Yeah. Those people who are saying it don't have critical thinking. How do you know that? How do you know that? Go look at their stories.
SPEAKER_01Well, we've also been conditioned in a way to where we we have we we've been conditioned in a way where critical thinking is a good thing, except in this, except in the book of the Bible, right? Except in what we believe in.
SPEAKER_00We we we then we start to take this weird shallowness when we get to the subject of the Bible, this weird, shallow emotional intelligence, this weird immaturity of no one's gonna ever know, right? Kind of thing. And then you start looking like an idiot. You start looking like a child, and these 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and then you know, three years later, year old disciples. Man, they're they're doing circles around us. Circles. I mean, that's a they're middle school and high school.
SPEAKER_01That's another fun conversation of it's the big thing of you always hear that your prefrontal cortex doesn't fully develop till you're 25, right? Oh man. When we use that as an excuse of we can't mature until we're 25.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's some like what what are we doing, y'all? What are we doing? What are we doing? Can't can't do it anymore. Okay. Uh tribalism sucks. This is why people uh deflect this type of talking because it takes accountability, and accountability is painful, and people don't want pain. People don't want pain. People say they want pain, people say they want freedom and transcendentness and whatever, but that requires sacrific sacrificial living, and and that is not a common conditioning here.
SPEAKER_01Also, I think it's interesting in verse 12. In verse 12, they went out and preached that people should repent, which was Jesus' first message, first message in Repent for the kingdom is here. Right. It's also interesting that going back to the people who believe, not only are they they not repented of the of the stuff because they're missing it, but it's it's always a good reminder that there's always repentance to do. Forever. Forever.
SPEAKER_00Forever. You you're you're never not, and then with your repentance after that has to come amending. You have to amend with true, accurate appendance repentance. You must.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Reminds me of Vadi when he says the only two things that are necessary for salvation are repentance and belief. Let's move on to verse 30 through 44.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. This is just no, I think no, let's do well, let's start. He's he's about to feed the 5,000. Let's start at 35. So I'll set it up real quick in the sense of so they were, you know, John, John the Baptist, the one of the greatest, just got beheaded, uh, the reincarnated or spirit-like Elijah. Um, and then the the disciples in Jesus need rest. They're trying to go away, but people recognize them, and they're they're the disciples in Jesus get in the boat, and everyone's running along the shore. And Jesus kind of has this human, very human-like, compassionate moment of like, man, we need to do something about this. So let's go at 35 through the end.
SPEAKER_01By this time it was late in the day, so his disciples came to him. This is a remote place, they said, It's and it's already very late. Send the people away so they can go to the surrounding countrysides and villages and buy themselves something to eat. But he answered, You give them something to eat. They said to him, That would take more than a half year's wages. Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat? How many loaves do you have? He asked. Go and see. When they found out, they said, Five and two fish. Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties, taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and he broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among among them all. They all ate and were satisfied. And the disciples picked up twelve baskets, basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of of the men who had eaten was five thousand. Okay. We uh I mean there's a lot here. What stands out? What gets what gets weird? Well, working backwards, it's interesting that they only number the men, and everybody thinks it's because uh one, it's them the men represent the household, or men represent uh uh the the men represent or or they might think that the men is the only thing that quote unquote they think is matters, which is but well again, these writers are making a point of oh, oh, there's five thousand men, five thousand households here, right? What does that entail entail? What does that what does that five thousand mean? Right. And so he's making a point of five thousand specifically.
SPEAKER_00Why? This is a big deal, this is a huge deal because I mean there's multiple things going on. We have a lot of numbers, right? We have not a lot of food, we got a lot of people, we have yes, we have and then we have servants, we have servants, we we have Jesus saying, You do it. Yeah, you got him here, you go. And I think that's something that's very interesting at the very beginning of Jesus having the compassion, right? And he's taught his disciples what to do. And they just went, they they were just commissioned to go act out what he has preached, and he's already acted out what he's preached, which is a huge deal. That's kind of the algorithm, the linear algorithm of the pastor, the accurate pastor. Uh, and so Jesus is saying, hey, don't just have some half radical hospitality here. You don't, you know what you signed up for. Don't just say, hey, and we do this all the time. Well, we need to do something for them. We need to be there for them. We'll set something up. We can't do it right now because we don't want to. We start, we start making these weird negotiations with ourselves or the people around us because we think it's gonna take too much time or resource or whatever effort or whatever. We won't do it good enough if we do it in the moment. There is so much stuff that needs to be taken care of now that we do not do. And we start negotiating with ourselves and we start talking ourselves out of taking action now. And watch how one little time it takes, probably, and one who cares? Who cares about time?
SPEAKER_01How long it takes, who who cares? Or how much effort it takes?
SPEAKER_00How do you know that that's not part of your destiny right there? Right. That you're you're shoving off, you're deflecting your destiny. That's a big deal. And then you start bringing up these excuses to God because he's like, Why don't you feed them? Well, that's gonna take money. I don't got bloody bloody blah. I've done that so many times. And then real the realization of I already have all that I need around me. To none of the stuff that I think I need was even being asked of me. Yeah, none of the stuff I thought would be asked of me was never asked of me. What the heck? It's what I what we do, what I do with fear. Start doing this fear of man thing and start making a weird game of acceptance, of thinking I won't be accepted if if I do something off or poor or not as good, or it's or or it's gonna take too long. I don't want to be around these people. I want to go, I'm tired, I haven't had a lot of me time. Like, what is that? What is that? It's just a weird game that I play. It's a weird game that we all play. And so what what what what happens next? So they stop the excuses, they get everybody together, and Jewish people, the Bible does love their numbers. One, the number one means God, the number two means the Ten Commandments, the number three means shalom, peace, community, unity, four means gentiles, the four corners of the earth. Five are the five books of Moses, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and six is sin, incomplete, seven is completeness, eight is new creation, nine is finality, judgment, ten is even more completeness, and then there's more so and more so. And so with this, you have five loaves of bread and you have two fish. Well, that's interesting. Yeah. How many what what's the number for five? It's the Torah, five first five books of the Bible. Right. And what's the number? And how many fish do we have? We have two fish. What's the number for two? Ten commandments. And then what do you wait a second? And then if you combine both, five plus two is what?
SPEAKER_01Seven completeness.
SPEAKER_00And who's giving this? Jesus. He's giving the complete fullness of who he is. I am the shepherd. I am you are my flock. I'm not gonna make, I'm not gonna let you go without need. And who does Jesus though give out the food himself?
SPEAKER_01No, he gives it to the disciples to give it to it.
SPEAKER_00The disciples go and do it. Us. Jesus has given us the story. God has given us the story on what to do and how to do this. This is not a confusing thing. This does not have to be, well, we have to plan these great events, we have to make something happen so we get everybody involved. No, take care of it now. Rest will be provided. You need to know when. Be a master over that. Know how to be a human. And is your head up enough right now to where there's there's five loaves of bread and there's two fish around you, there's completeness around you. And are you serving it to the people that need it? Are you serving it to the people that need it? Well, what does that look like? I don't know. It's your circles. Well, I'm not in ministry, I I work a business. No one's asking that question.

SPEAKER_00Great. Where where's the completeness that you need to be serving? Does someone need you to listen to listen? Does someone need you to listen to talk? Does someone need you to go fix something at their house? Does someone need you to go pull them out of isolation? And if you recognize the 5,000, the five, who's he feeding the the the Jewish people? Because he feeds another group of people. How many next?

SPEAKER_01The four corns of the world. Everybody else.
SPEAKER_00Everybody else. The Gentiles, us. He feeds us next. Because he's like, oh, I'm not here just for the chosen people of God, Israel. I'm here for everybody. To break everybody out of this empire. This oppression of sin. Because it is for this is for all of us to make the world better. We have the loaves of bread and we have the fishes and we got the people. They're around. Pick your freaking head up. Stop being for yourself. Stop being around people that just look and agree and are empty-minded like you are. I'm not saying all of you. But there are some that you know that you've gone down to empty-mindedness and you are so gifted with your intellectual spirituality. You need to execute on it now. Bring holiness, bring different, be set apart. It's time. Jesus has given the way. Hello. We gotta go. These were middle school and high schoolers doing this. We gotta go. Okay.
