SPEAKER_01Yo. How are we?
SPEAKER_00Oh, dude, we're having a good Monday.
SPEAKER_01The trees. Uh uh, four hundred billion.
SPEAKER_00That's again. Yet again. I had to I had to fact check you.
SPEAKER_01I know.
SPEAKER_00Purely because I was like, there's no way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Let me let me let me I'm actually like looking to fact check myself for a second on that. Three trillion trees. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me make sure the stats on that.
SPEAKER_00Uh you just double checking the uh three trillion.
SPEAKER_01There are more trees on Earth. Three trillion than stars in the Milky Way. Yeah. That that ranging from a hundred to four hundred billion with a B. Billion. That's a lot. Um, so I might have said million. Yeah, you did. Wait, wait a yeah. And it's Monday, so we can start over. Is there grace for that?
SPEAKER_00For for me using the wrong thing.
SPEAKER_01I guess so. It was just Easter. You're welcome.
SPEAKER_00Oh, thanks. Once a year, dude.
SPEAKER_01But the tree thing, you know what I'm saying? You know what I would never want to hear again?
SPEAKER_00That we're running out of trees.
SPEAKER_01I never want to hear it again. I will give you a freaking one-inch punch right to the throat.
SPEAKER_00How much of the that maybe I'm giving too many fun facts today, but how much of the Amazon have we explored? Maybe three percent?
SPEAKER_01Barely any of it. And the amount of species that live between uh I think it's the the top of the trees and oh darn it, I'm gonna get this wrong. But like the canopy area, right? Y'all know what I'm talking. The tens of tens know what I'm know what we're talking about. But here's the deal. I just don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear the climate thing. Uh we all know, no one wants to hear it. I think we're all in agreement of that. But here we just wanted to secure you guys on taking a stand on that there are enough trees. Maybe plenty, maybe too many. I'm kidding. But there's that guy who goes around and plants, like he walks every every like two steps steps, he plants a tree. Have you seen this guy? Two steps. Every two steps, he like takes out his little uh shovel and throws it in the ground and takes out a little baby tree and puts it into the ground and steps on it or steps around it and then move keeps moving. And he's planted like millions of them. Turn turns out it's like the wrong tree for the client planting in the area. And it's like doing damage.
SPEAKER_00Gosh. So that just completely describes the human condition for me. You know, isn't that a you think we know kind of thing?
SPEAKER_01You you you'd think we do a quick Google search, but that's also the thing, like with the disciples, they're gonna I think they're gonna look at a lot of us when we get to heaven, and it's like, man, you guys had Google and Bible Gateway and all these other things. We had to memorize this stuff and have the savior of the universe look at us and be like, what am I meaning by this? And so, yeah, we can do better, and I believe we will do better. So, uh has life been well for you?
SPEAKER_00Life's been great, man.
SPEAKER_01I wasn't planning on asking you that, but I thought I should care.
SPEAKER_00No, I appreciate that. You're welcome. I never ask you that.
SPEAKER_01I know.
SPEAKER_00How's your life been?
SPEAKER_01It has been adventurous, um to say the least. It's always it's not boring.
SPEAKER_00Man, we've had a great, we had a great weekend.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. What was that about?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I'm I I had a great time at church.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, house church was really um, that was a special Sunday. It was really cool. Uh we were journeying through the book of John. Uh a Jew writing to Gentiles, and Gentiles are looking for the reason why, kind of the reason of dark matter, what holds all this together. And John's like, I'll take care of that agenda. And so um, different from the one that we are on right now, though, uh, which is the book of Mark and a reminder of Mark's agenda. And why is an agenda important? Because we give you a lens, right? You know, it's an optic, and we can't synchronize this stuff. You you can synchronize things in in subways, but the main point of each gospel has its own audience, has its own agenda, has its own uh point, its mission, whatever you want to call it. And so Mark being a Jew writing to empire, uh, the specific empire at that time is Rome. Uh, the empire of 2026 is America, and a lot of other ones that are trying to battle uh for that or jockey for a position of empire today. And so uh Matthew is a book, uh a Jew writing to Jews. And you know, anywhere from the five-year-old Jewish boy to the 18-year-old uh Jew would understand the book of Matthew way uh easier than uh a Westerner, like an American Christian would. Uh they wouldn't just they could read it line by line, but it would take them longer because they would they would see the details that are in there for them. Uh us, the book of Mark is the most popular book in America uh because it's the shortest, uh, one of the shortest ones, and people can just get through it faster.
SPEAKER_00I've been laughing while we're reading this because I haven't read Mark in a while. And I think when we started to read chapter two, I was laughing because we had I feel like we had skipped like a it felt like a year and a half into Jesus' ministry in a single chapter. It wasn't exactly that, but it I felt like there was just so much that had gone by where I was like, wait, where's the rest of the story?
SPEAKER_01And and that's a that's a reflection and characteristic of our conditioning in the West. Uh we're Will and I were just having some fun sci-fi talk, some pre-flood talk of whatever, and and the subject of time dilation comes up because a lot of people do are like, wasn't it just 2019, the other day? And a lot of that happens because of uh we we go so fast in the sense of we think it's a badge of honor, or it's this efficiency route. And the faster and more efficient I can be on uh just getting and memorizing and producing, well, then I maybe my desire of wanting will stop. Well, that's just not the case at all. And you have so many people doing this bullet type of uh um living, this fast living, this fast food living to get to the finish line. And then they get there and they're one of the only ones there, and then they're looking and they're only talking about the journey, and then they're wanting to kind of go back to the journey. And so it's this whole thing if you're not present, and and if you don't really take what Jesus says on purpose of have have to an eye for today, don't have an eye for tomorrow. Right.
SPEAKER_00Because if you yeah, like yeah, I've been I I ask myself my friends a Western question all the time of because it's an easy question to define of how you define success. And every answer I get is always doing this thing and then doing this thing. It's never, it's never I'm to be able to enjoy my day. It's always to get a husband, to get a wife, to get a job, to sell a business, to own land, to own a horse. Do you know what I mean? Yep. It just it's always making that contract with yourself of saying, until I get this, I will be unhappy.
SPEAKER_01And then it get and then you get there. Like let's say you get all those things, then what? Watch what happens to you. Right. You it the the same cycle continues because there is nothing broken, and you you have a discontentment of uh a shallow discontentment that is so you get there so quickly instead of a holy discontentment. Holy holy discontentment is that you are discontent by the things that God is discontent by. You are content by the things that the world is not content by. The world is not praying for uh blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are the meek, blessed are uh uh the merciful, blessed are all these things. No one's praying to be those things. Those are states that it's like I'm not praying to be poor in spirit, but Jesus says to be meek, right? But Jesus is like, those are the ones who have my Father's favor now, and he's trying to get us to be in the now. And the and the more that you can be in the now with this whole thing, the watch the slowing down happen. It will just happen. And and the more you again, we talk about this multiple times, you live with an open hands, chaos in one hand, and order in the other. And you're able to combine that. That's when really cool synchronicity starts to happen in life, where the story and the objective combine with each other. And that was the perfect example of that is Jesus. And so, uh, yeah, diving into the book of Mark, still we are in chapter three of today. Um chapter three. It's a very interesting chapter to kind of prelude it. Uh, talking about we again, we're not reading the full chapters. Uh again, why do we do that? Because we don't feel like we have time. I know there are long podcasts out there, but the attention span of the human all over the world, not just Western, but it is a goldfish, and that's not a good thing. Right. Yeah, I know Ted Lasso says, be a goldfish. That's I I hopefully people are just doing that about moving on from um things that you've messed up on and you've amended it, and that you're not letting that control you anymore. Not your intention span. Again, we got to re-wire ourselves back to the garden. There's a way that we've been wired, and that's Genesis 1 and 2. Unconditional acceptance and and how to be a master of this life. And then you don't have to deal with the rest of the chapters three through Revelation. Watch what happens with that world. Okay, so we're in chapter three of Mark, the Jew writing to Empire, uh, the Empire of 2026. The first two chapters have been full of uh impactful ways on how to how to be stable within this. And then today we get to meet the twelve of the disciples, and then we get to see how we uh deal with reconciliation of family and a house divided. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Chapter three, verse thirteen through nineteen. Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. These are the twelve he appointed. Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter, James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John. To them he gave the name Sons of Thunder.
SPEAKER_01It's a weird name.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01It's Bone-Jerness. I don't even know how to say that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.
SPEAKER_01Amazing. Okay, so here's what we do with the scriptures. We let the text be the context and we ask questions. And what what do we do when we let the text be the context? What are we looking for? Just little hints. Little hints of like, why is this here? Why are we just doing a list of names? Well, eat Tava, that's easy because we the author's just trying to tell us who's in the group. That's an easy thing, right? But the every author of the Bible, except for Luke, is a is a Jewish Eastern uh author and writer and worker and husband and friend and brother and son and uh mission worker. So with this, uh we know that anything that we see on the surface, there is more to it, whether you want to go there or not, right? And you do want it to be that deep. You want there to be pressure while you read the Bible, you want there to be um a way that this stirs you so that the the mundane in your Bible reading leaves. So the incentivizing, I'm gonna be incentivized, uh, I'm gonna incentivize myself or youth groups are gonna incentivize children or VBS's to memorize scripture verses just to get people in the Bible because we think that's a good way to do it. That's not a good way to do it, that's a horrible way to do it. That that is conditional living with an unconditional God of acceptance. And you think he likes being treated like that? That's that's a wild concept to me. Um, I was taught that, and I don't think out of bad motivation, uh, but I was taught that out of empty thinking and empty feeling by people before me.
SPEAKER_00And so or people who have said this is how I had to do it, so you have to do it this way.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. I'm older than you, so you have to listen to me. Well, this is weird because the disciples that we were just reading are anywhere from the ages 12 to 17 years old at this moment. Everyone listening to this. These are teenagers being called by the God of the universe. What that should be insulting in any type of way. The chosen series, the TV series that's that's that does the life of Jesus uh currently, uh does a poor job with this because it makes it seem like a bunch of 30-year-olds are following Jesus, a bunch of grown men. Uh, it's not. It's actually, I think, a huge jab by God to adults saying, Do you see how young I do you see how young uh uh I can use somebody? One, two, where I have to go to get people to follow me because of how much you crusty old people, including Tyler Griffin, on this. You I have to convince you to do this. And that's an unfortunate thing.
SPEAKER_00This list also reminds me of the of Matthew 1 in a way because it lists out at least two people who would not be called by anybody else. I mean, I know everybody on the list is, but the but the specific description of Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him sounds like two people that would never be called by anyone at the in the in the current at that current day.
SPEAKER_01Well they belong they belong to the to the zealot group, which today would would be a Zionist type of group. Uh so they believed in type of violent military action uh was gonna propel freedom and peace and messiah uh working. And then you have Matthew also, who is a Jew, and his family and society viewed him as selling a soul against the Jewish people by becoming a tax collector of Rome, because the tax collectors were known for taking way too much off the off the top and giving it to the empire that was oppressing these people. And so you you have a really bad amount of uh disciples, people here in the Western church loves taking this as and and and really manipulating this the feelings of of the people of today and emotionalizing this kind of thing, being like, see, God will use a murderer, God will use a rapist, and God will use whoever. You just gotta give them your yes. And I don't know why I did the hillbilly voice, but with it is this you had you had younger flashbacks. I mean, dude, uh with this, sure, god can you, but there's more happening here. And a specific person that really I I know rubbed wrong against his his human skin is Jesus, including the the zealots, the two zealots. Because why their entire ministry, they believe they're in ministry doing God's work, but it was all through violence, and so that really you see it rubs him wrong in the wedding to Cana, wedding at Cana, sorry, in his first miracle, and why he doesn't want to do the miracle at first, and he kind of goes back and forth with his mom and in that type of town that he's in, and it's a town that's a more military Zionist zealot type of town, and he does not he says over and over there's no such thing as violent reconciliation, none. And so the other thing with these with these 12 uh majority of these, uh, where you have Simon, James, John, Andrew, Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and uh another James, all of those ones have been, they've all as boys had desire to work for kingdom, the church of the day, but them and their fathers and their fathers' fathers were rejected by the church. This is why Jesus shows up when he shows up in human history, because it gets it has gotten so bad that the ones who are supposed to be the refuge for the people of the world, the pastors, the shepherds, the church, the family of God, is actually looking at people and determining their value as a human. And so men of that day, the boys of that day, wanted to grow up and actually work for the church. For hundreds of years they wanted to do that, but it got so bad by uh uh Pharisees and Sadducees and chief priests and what we what would be like the small churches, some mega churches, so all these types of men, their piety and their authority grew so made them so blind that they started looking at these young boys and saying, Hey, we see that you love God and you know your Bible really well and you love people, but you're a little too, and they use the word mumser, the Hebrew word for illegitimate, the Hebrew word for bastard, you're a little too bastardy for us. And so by law, when you're told that, by law, you have to go do what your father's doing by by by trait for your work. And just by Jesus' birth story alone, you imagine Mary at a mom's coffee group, right? And the kids are playing, they're like, hey, how was Jesus born? How was Jesus born? How did that go? How was your pregnancy for you? And she tells him, and she's not getting invited back to mom's group next week, which is horrid. And then they're already being marked by society as mumsers just because of the birth story, and so Jesus being labeled as a birth uh as a mumser, what was his trade? A stonemason and a carpenter. What was Joseph's stonemason carpenter? What was Joseph's father, stonemason, carpenter? You see where we're going with this? Jesus calls a bunch of rejects who had been rejected by society not because of anything else, but but you're not as val, we don't optically visually see you as value. And we think that your your type of humanness is gonna bring down what we're doing with the quality of with the quality of whatever you have going on. And if that's not happening today, and we don't think that it's not happening today, and this is why Jesus called who he called, the ones who think that they're not in, think that they're living by rejection, you're actually the ones that are in. You're the blessed, the blessed, the blessed, the blessed that he does in the Beatitudes. That's a present tense. You don't got to wait for God's favor. He's saying, You have it now. And he's telling the ones that think that they're in, the pastors of today, but we're the Jew, our society, the Western society, American Christians are the Jews 2.0, have been introduced to the Messiah, sees the Messiah, hears the Messiah, has it all around us, evidential of everything. But we're like, eh. And how do you know that? Because of the type of people that we let in and we don't let in. You tell me, you give me a pastor who knows their smallest donor. You give me a pastor uh who isn't thir uh an absolute thirst trap for a to be invited onto a podcast, to get an invitation to a summer camp this summer, and to get whatever highlight hoop little clip of them speaking so that they can have that type of playing just to get more people showing up. Right? If you think that that isn't an element of what was going on in Jesus' day of rejecting people who want to be a part of kingdom, but you look a little too uh. And and no one would have the audacity to do that today because there's too many cameras around. But if you don't think it's not happening in forms, please just. Have your head up. Look around and the types of hidden forms of mumser that is happening. Look at the different groups. Look at the look in the lobbies. Look who gets to talk to who. Look at the different tribes that start to form. Give, do a little case study for the next four Sundays. See what you find out about wherever you attend. Or whatever, I don't know, spiritual group that you're a part of. I don't care if it's a church. Just whatever. I'm trying to show you what the humans will naturally quickly do to be a beast, to live in the victimhood of chapter three of Genesis, voluntarily wanting to go back to Egypt when you are no longer a slave. So Jesus calling these 12, and who these 12 were, you had you had how many rejects doing their father's trade? I think about six. And then you had Matthew, who sold his soul against his own people to join the Roman Empire. And then you had uh uh Simon the Zealot and Judas both come from military background who believe that the kingdom of God is going to come by the most assassinations that can happen. Y'all it check, check, and check. We're doing all of those things today in all of our current groups. Individualism, tribalism, uh uh separation, division. It's I mean, it is all happening. It's all happening, and we don't know how to I think Bible or live Bible and see what Jesus is doing here in this Mark chapter three. It's a very upside down thing.
SPEAKER_00Wild. What do you think? It's crazy. I I think a lot of people don't I think a lot of people don't see a lot of that stuff. Um and I think the people that don't see that stuff are usually the the cool people, the people who give a lot of money, the people who are you know good at societal things. But I have I have a friend who uh has a child that has difficulty speaking sometimes, and that child went through a church can church teaching like Sunday school kind of idea. And the teacher at that time came back to them and was like very disgusted um by the child and was basically like, Hey, I'm not a special needs teacher, I can't be doing this, and I'm and it seems to be so obvious that people that this happens in the church as it does all places, but it happens in the place that it shouldn't happen. And it's easy to forget about it because then those people go away and they're like, okay, I guess I'm not invited here. And then it's really easy to be blind to it. And I think that we can't allow ourselves to be blind to it anymore. And uh, that's why I think this is this whole thing is frustrating. Yeah, in terms of in terms of the church today. And church, I mean myself and the people who are believers, not not necessarily even just the building, but the mums are it, the but the mums areh stuff, the outcast stuff, the you're not ex enough, cool enough, good enough, giving enough, good at sports enough, whatever it is, is it's all a reflection of yeah, it's it's a reflection of what we've made important, like um, like what you know, uh the celebrity, the sports, the um singing, music, all this stuff.
SPEAKER_01Like you can make a cajillion doll dollars in those such of those shallow industries. And so we you know, we don't have high values. We don't we we've lost our critical thinking in a way that it's now like kind of boring to do that. And so it's easier to do the tribalism thing and to ask for forgiveness and think that, okay, well, you know, uh you know, I'm not really that. When when it's like, man, you know how special needs you are to God? Like that that's insane. And you know, I think the special needs thing is kind of an easy example because no one right.
SPEAKER_00He wasn't special needs, that was the thing. He was just he just had he was three years old and just had trouble speaking.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, i it it's just the lack of sacrificial living that we don't do. We don't know how to do sack voluntarily voluntary suffering. We know how to do chosen suffering in the bad way, and then that's when we'll pray. But the the amount of chosen suffering that we do that is horrid, and we call it kind of hindsight 2020. That is so stupid. It's so bad. It's so bad. Involuntary suffering versus chosen suffering. It it's quite the discernment that the human needs to be able to obtain. Because if you do not, then you're gonna start never inconveniencing yourself for others. Which, what? Like we live in the softest, most comfortable time ever in human history. Ever. And and we have people like God is building the kingdom of God on the back of uh of the kid that's sitting at the at the lunch room at the lunch table by himself. That's who he's looking for, right? The one that that has a has something in him that that that's a fire. And so, but we have so many people that are have such fear of man. Um and these disciples, right? They're living out of generational rejection, which is a very interesting thing. On did have if it wasn't for Jesus coming to lift their head out of generational rejection, when when are you ever capable of flying and dreaming and going to do you and being true to you? It's an unbelievable thing. This upside down kingdom that that God does um with calling who he calls. Okay. Next part. Chapter three, once again, verse 20.
SPEAKER_0020 through 35. Yes. Then Jesus, then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said he is out of his mind. And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said he is possessed by Beelzebel, by the prince of demons, he is driving out demons. So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables. How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand. His hand his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man's house. Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. They are guilty of an eternal sin. He said this because they were saying he has an impure spirit. Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you. Who are my brothers and my brothers? He asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, Here are my mother and my brothers. Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother.
SPEAKER_01Okay, perfect. A kind of uh an interesting thing and a weird, um, weird ending. So that's what we love to do. We love to call things weird and we love to say, What are the problems? What stands out? And you know, one of the first things that stands out is they're trying to corner Jesus once again. Shocker, no way, uh pretty obvious thing to stand out with. Uh, but what's interesting is the beginning. Uh then Jesus entered a house and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said he is out of his mind. At the end of the Beatitudes, Jesus uh says, uh changes the pronouns from those to you, and but says the same thing of being persecuted. And he says also in chapter 10, when he sends the disciples on their first mission trip, and where does he send the disciples on the first mission trip? Not to China, not to Haiti, not to Dominic, not not to these other countries. He sends them back to their hometowns who already believe in God. And he's like, get ready. Your own family, your own church, your own Bible studies, your own whatever. Is they're not gonna like this. They're not gonna like the part of peacemaker and peacekeeper. They're not gonna like the part of turning the other cheek. They're not gonna like the part of you not siding with a political party. They're not gonna like the part of you calling out truth when when it's not a popular truth because it's been a hidden truth for so long. And there are gonna be really hard times when even your the blood that you were born into, the womb that you were born into, is going to say, you need to stay over here with us because we are your family and we know what's best for you. And Jesus saying, but you stick close to me. I know what's best for you. I am your my father is your father, I am your savior, my the Holy Spirit is your spirit inside of you. You have the living God. There are gonna be things that when you are standing for kingdom and and everybody else, and you are gonna be called weird things because you are not siding with what you know is not good, what you know is not right, what you know is not justice, no matter the political affiliation, no matter the country, no matter the history, no matter how it's gonna make you look, you are called to side with Christ. He is he is our rabbi, and the number one rule as a disciple whatever your rabbi does, you do. So there's an interesting quote that everybody gets wrong. Everybody gets wrong. Actually, before we get into that, the other thing that stands out is parables. This is an interesting thing that he he doesn't give them a clarifying answer, he actually meets them with a parable. And I asked one time, what are the points of parables when I was teaching a long time ago? And someone said to help us understand easier. And that is not the point of parables. The point of parables are actually for Jesus to use them as things to confuse us on purpose, and he wants to see who's in this, not for uh uh uh with a uh fake calling, who who is actually uh uh not wanting to be a part of this. So the parables are the things that are here to confuse the ones that are the fakes, the actors. And who are the actors? The one that walked, they even walk the walk, they talk the talk, and and they might even be doing executing on things, right? But they're still missing it. That's what Jesus says is a true hypocrite, not the one who says one thing and does another. He's saying, No, you're fully walking the walk and you're talking the talk, but you're still missing it. You're just an actor of this whole thing. And so he will use parables to identify who the actors are. And he's and he's saying, Well, this is easy. You're saying I'm driving out evil by partaking in evil. You you you guys aren't even listening to yourselves, and that's the days that we're in today. We are, well, we got to go kill those people in order for them to have God. We have to really scream the Bible and shove it down those kinds of people's throats and really make sure we yell at them or talk about them or determine their value so that they see the love of Christ. And it's just this wild paradigm that is happening right before eyes that happened 2,000 years ago, that's been happening since the fracture, and yet we still act like it's this new thing. And so he calls them out, he's like, You guys aren't even making sense. You're you're not only that, it's leading you to blaspheming. And blaspheming in the original text means uh the person who gets in the way of God. And I'll tell you, you you say that Jesus is a part of Satan's house while he's driving out Satan, yeah. I I'd say that's getting in the way of God. So the unforgivable sin that everyone's he who gets in the way of God. And I'll come back up down the road. But and then and then the last part, there's a there's a quote that we all get wrong a whole lot. Can you guess what quote I'm probably gonna say? The one about family.

SPEAKER_00The quote that says that blood blood is thicker than water.
SPEAKER_01Right, everybody says, everybody says blood is thicker than the water. I'm going, blood is thick in water, blood is thicker than the water, blood is thicker than water. And I'm like, okay, well, then all of a sudden, I shockingly did a Google search.
SPEAKER_00Fun fact it. Oh man, just looked it up. We're gonna start calling checking things fun facting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And guess what, everybody? All tens of tens. It's the blood of the covenant. The real quote is the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Meaning that you have that God is gonna judge you on the bonds that you choose, the disciples that you call, the people that you put yourself around, the friends that you have, the girlfriends, the boyfriends, the spouses, the people that you are gonna spend your gift of this life with, that's how you're gonna be reflected by, not by the womb that you had no choice to be in, born into. If the parents want to have a bond with the child, that is the parent's job to pursue that bond. The child had no choice of being born into that family. The parents had the choice if they wanted to have the child or not, right? So, with that, the it is the quote is the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. That is the quote, and it comes out of what Jesus is saying here. Jesus is saying, Who is my family? Who's calling me mentally ill? Just because they're uncomfortable with the truth. And why are why do people start doing that? Because they're afraid to be wrong. That they live their life for so long under this absoluteness. And when you do that and you've wired yourself like that, and you have no room to be in wrong ever in your life, you take such a positional authority in so many things around you. It's it's suffocating. And what it's interesting what this type of suffocating produces. It doesn't produce death, it produces numbness that makes you this kind of daywalker. And it's this unbelievable control of illusion. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. It's the people who you choose to be around that is reflective of you. Look who Jesus was being around. Look what he did. And and look how unpopular he was, right? Right, right, right. No one's shocked by that. But with his own family, yeah, Mary, the old great one by the Catholics. Like what this this whole thing of this obsession with family, not saying don't like I I just think reconciliation, because there's so much family drama and family hurt and family addictiveness, that I think reconciliation would be way more accurate if it was pursued through this lens and this filter of this chapter of who is my family. Do I have an addictive uh thing to the womb? Do I care more about the approval of my womb family than my heavenly family? I'm gonna be judged on my bonds. Yeah, give honor and give honor to mom and dad, right? Um honor also doesn't mean in being enabling uh uh a type of way of like Jesus is still honoring his mom here, he's not dishonoring his mom by saying this. He's he it it it doesn't mean also like he has to leave and go do what mommy says just because she doesn't like it and she's uncomfortable. She's earthly, he's doing heavenly. If you think heavenly and feel and execute heavenly, you're transcendent. The Christ consciousness of you starts to overtake identity and it starts to become your every single day. And you start to understand what to do, how to make decisions fluidly, how to be a master, how to stop falsely waiting, how to start accurately waiting. And you start to see while you're waiting, you're even moving, you're doing these things. It's unbelievable. Your mind is clear. Stop the addiction. Stop it. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. He is our family. We have this already figured out. Right? So, may we not get in the way of God. Right? No more mumsers. There's no more outcasts, we're not being rejected anymore. We don't have to go do our father's trade. We now get to go do our heavenly father's trade, which is kingdom, to glorify him, to be satisfied with him. I want nothing else. Will and I legitimately could sit here and someone could walk in and say, Oh, alright, now it's over forever. Great. Awesome. Yeah, thank you, actually. Great. It's time to go home. But we still got work to do. And we're gonna do it. Good?
