SET APART
A podcast that combines Eastern and Western teaching/story from the scriptures to regain our WHY in God. The purpose of this show is to break down the severe disconnect in today's Church vs how God has called for this life to be lived.. We do this through the scriptures and our guest's stories with each episode.
The American Church teaches an extremely one sided evident driven view of the scriptures. In that danger you lose the poetry and art of story telling to where there is only half truths left. No wonder people are walking away from Christianity by the masses.
These eastern authors intended much more for our hearts with their writings that God inspired. Watch as these ancient truths give you a new/refreshing perspective that will change the way you live. Getting back to the Garden.

Ep.2: Unconditional Acceptance
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Most people do not realize how much of their life is being built around one quiet question:
Am I accepted?
It hides beneath ambition, insecurity, people-pleasing, image management, and the fear of being fully seen. It follows people into friendships, relationships, church spaces, and even their walk with God. And when acceptance is being searched for in the wrong places, the soul becomes exhausted from trying to stay lovable.
In this episode, we talk about the hunger to be received and the freedom that comes when identity is no longer handed over to the opinions of others. Because there is a kind of acceptance the world offers that keeps you performing, and there is a kind of acceptance God gives that pulls you out of hiding.
This is not a conversation about shallow affirmation. It is about the kind of love that tells the truth. The kind that does not ask you to pretend. The kind that breaks the fear of man and teaches your heart how to rest.
If you have ever felt trapped by rejection, driven by approval, or worn out from trying to be enough for everyone, this episode gets beneath the surface.
There is a way to be known without performing.
There is a way to be loved without proving.
There is a way to finally be at rest.
